Aaron J. Overberg, "Ike", passed away peacefully with his sister by his side at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN on July 6, 2013 at the age of 51. He was born on May 20, 1962 in St. Paul, MN to Alvin and Celestine (Scott) Overberg. He grew up in Clayton, WI near Lake Magnor. He helped work at a gasoline station in Richardson which his mother managed called "Sally Bell's" or "Sally Vickers". Aaron graduated from Clayton High School in 1980 and shortly after that he joined the Navy and was based in Honolulu, Hawaii. He left the Navy in 1987 and returned to Clayton and helped tear down the "Richardson Pavilion". He then became disabled in an automobile accident. Throughout all of Aaron's life he enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, 4 wheeling, camping and meeting up with friends for a great time; especially with Chuck Wilson when they would go "Casinoing". Aaron was a lifetime member of the Richardson's Sportsman Club and North American Hunting and Fishing Clubs. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Sally Overberg. He is survived by his biological son, Mitchell Olson; sister, Pam Thompson; niece, Ashley McCarty and nephew, Kyle McCarty as well as many other friends. A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Turtle Creek Glen, 654 5 1/2 Street, Barron County, WI. A visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. with a memoriam to follow by the VFW of Almena. A Celebration of Life luncheon and party will start at 5 p.m.
