Alan Richard Greb, age 88, of Luck, WI, formerly of Blaine, MN, passed away on Friday, October 6, 2023.

He was born in Valley City, ND on November 20, 1934 to Willard and Evelyn (McConoughey) Greb. He attended grade school in Valley City before leaving to work on the family farm. Alan later worked in the oil fields where he met his wife, Lauradell Rodd. They were married in 1955, and together raised four sons and three daughters. In the early 1960's, Alan began working as a Union Meat Cutter at various groceries.

Alan enjoyed bowling, camping, gardening, and living the cabin and country life. He liked being on the water, whether it was taking his grandkids on pontoon rides on the lake or going on cruises with family and friends. For 41 years, Alan hosted "Big Al's Annual Pig Roast," and he will also be remembered for his Labor Day Turkey Roast. Alan will be very missed by many dear family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Wayne, Ervin, Dorlene, Shirley, Carol and infant brother; wife, Lauradell; and daughter, Debra. Alan is survived by his children, Richard (Suzanne) Greb, Russ (Laura) Greb, Steven Greb, Cheryl Greb, Robert (Mary) Greb, and Tanna (Jason) Dawson; 19 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and other loving relatives and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 13, 2023 at 11:00 am at Chain of Lakes Church in Blaine, MN with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will take place at Morningside Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Coon Rapids, MN.
