Obituary

Anne Laura Brusletten, 93, of Amery, WI, entered into eternal rest April 4, 2016 at Judy's Cottage, Golden Age Manor, in Amery, WI.

Anne was born January 27, 1923, at home in Cumberland, WI. She grew up on the Monno family farm and graduated from Cumberland High School. On September 6, 1947, she married Herby Brusletten in Cumberland, WI. They farmed in rural Amery and Anne was a cook and School Food Supervisor for the Amery School District from 1967-1984.

Anne was preceded in death by her husband, Herby; her parents, Pasquale (Patsy) and Angeline (Jennie) (Zappa) Monno; her in-laws, Louis and Beatta (Benson) Brusletten; her brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Tony (Elfrieda) Monno, Jim (Netta) Monno, Joe (Georgina) Monno, Raymond Monno, Pat Monno, Sam (Carol) Monno, John Monno, Betty (Herb) Korf, Lucy (Dick) Kaiser, Tony Zappa, Mario Ranelli, Jack Calder, Bernie (Cliff) Mikkola, Gail (Joe) Gysler, Pat (Frank) Rogers, and Dolly Route; her daughters-in-law, Mary Brusletten and Nancy Brusletten.

Anne will be loved and remembered by her 8 children, Diane (Bill) Kelly, Greg (Judy) Brusletten, Gerry (Julie) Brusletten, Ron Brusletten, Bonnie (Mike) Jackelen, Julie (Daryl) Iverson, Lori (Rod) Olson, Lorne Brusletten; 14 grandchildren, Tony Brusletten (Amber Carlsen), Holly (Scott) Kjeseth, Michael Brusletten (Jocelyn Senrick), Becky Brusletten (Chris Rousar), Luke Brusletten, Matthew Brusletten, Cameron Brusletten, Mandy (Ben) Kaczmarek, Sherri (David) Franko, Darren Iverson (Tenzing Sangmo), Elliott Brusletten, Courteney Brusletten, Huston Brusletten, Madison Brusletten;
9 great-grandchildren, Spencer Brusletten, Bergen Kjeseth, Fletcher Kjeseth, Mallory Kjeseth, Braidyn Brusletten, Ashtyn Brusletten, Millie Rousar, Camdyn Kaczmarek and Baby Franko; 4 sisters Mary Zappa, Jennie Ranelli, Josephine Calder, and Celia (Ed) Sikorski; and many other relatives and friends.

Mass of the Resurrection to be held Saturday, April 9, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Gene Murphy officiating. Mass servers: Elliott Brusletten, Huston Brusletten, and Mike Schanon. Music provided by the St. Joseph Choir. Visitation will be on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home and for the hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at the Amery Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tony Brusletten, Michael Brusletten, Luke Brusletten, Matthew Brusletten, Cameron Brusletten, and Darren Iverson. Honorary Pallbearers: Holly Kjeseth, Becky Brusletten, Mandy Kaczmarek, Sherri Franko, Courteney Brusletten, and Madison Brusletten.
