Archille Cassavant Jr. was born on January 22, 1944 to Archille and Margaret Cassavant. He graduated from Amery High School and went on to work for Fabri-Tek where he met the love of his life, Mary Larson. Archie and Mary were wed on January 30, 1965. Archie was a devoted husband and father to their three daughters; Tammy Cassavant-Strey (Mike) of New Richmond, Kim Arneson (Jeff) of Amery, and Melody Cassavant (Jason Anderson) of Amery. He was also a proud grandpa to Kody and Kollin Strey, Brian and Kristy Arneson, Ross, Rylee, Makaylaa and Marisaa Cassavant-Bloom, and Hailie and Jr. Anderson. Archie left Fabri-Tek and went to work at 3M where he remained employed for 37 years until retirement. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors and spending time on his land. Archie went to heaven to join his parents, sister Mary Oldroyd and many other dear friends and family.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday from 4 to 8 pm at the Williamson ~ White Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Amery. In honor of Archie's love of a casual, country lifestyle, please feel free to wear your favorite jeans to this gathering. A private family interment will take place at the Wagon Landing Cemetery at a later date.
