Arnold Julius Graunke, age 86 of Clayton, Wisconsin passed away on November 23, 2009 at the Amery Regional Medical Center. He was born on October 12, 1923 to Henry and Amanda (Selle) Graunke of Clayton, in Turtle Lake Township, Wisconsin. On October 23, 1945 Arnold was united in marriage to Elaine Kittel in Turtle Lake, WI. He farmed most of his life in addition to holding numerous jobs which included working at the Stella Cheese Factory, driving road grader in Turtle Lake Township, and driving school bus in Clayton. His hobbies included traveling, fishing and hunting. He was a life time member of Silver Creek Lutheran Church. He is preceded in death by his wife Elaine, an infant daughter, his parents, 3 brothers and an infant sister. Arnold is survived by a son Wayne (Debra) Graunke of Clayton; daughters Iris (Jack) Curtis of Roseville, Minnesota; and Evelyn (Gene) Olson of Lago Vista, Texas. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren as well as many other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church Silver Creek with Pastor David Emmons officiating. A visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, November 27, 2009 at the Williamson-White Funeral Home as well as one hour prior to the service at the church. Organist is Tonja Grosskreutz. Interment will be at the Mount Hope Cemetery Silver Creek. Pallbearers for the service will be Arnold's Grandchildren: Jonathan Curtis, Kevin Curtis, Camilla Curtis, Eric Olson, Karen Olson, Christopher Graunke, Joseph Graunke, and Jennifer Young.
