Benjamin "Benny" C. Boe of Deer Park, passed away peacefully at his home with family on February 17, 2025 at the age of 91. He was born on the family homestead near Deer Park, WI to Alfred and Nellie Boe (Webb) on November 14, 1933. He went to Northview grade school in Black Brook Township and graduated from Amery High School in 1952. In 1958 he married E.F. from Boyceville; in that twenty-nine year marriage they had three children, Brenda, Benjamin Jr. and Carla.

He was a hard worker and always on the move, farming for many years while working a variety of other jobs including hauling milk, selling seed corn and building Harvestore silos. He drove school bus for the Amery school district for several years and could be seen out after every snowstorm plowing snow for many businesses and residents of Deer Park and Amery. He loved people and would help out just about anyone with anything at any time.

Life wasn't all about hard work, he also liked to have fun and was always up for an adventure.  He loved to hop in his red and white '55 Chevy and go out dancing after the farm chores were done. He was active in FFA and 4H, participating in state competitions for judging livestock and tractor driving and racing his horse Silver at the local county fairs. He did his part in fueling that age old competition between Chevy and Ford, racing his buddies around the neighborhood any chance he got. Anyone that knew Ben knew he loved to drive and was never wanting for a good supply of cars, trucks and motorcycles.

After retiring from farming, Ben spent much of his time developing lots from the former farm fields into properties to rent and sell. Several acres were sold to the WI DNR and became the Boe Waterfowl Production Area. He was a master at repurposing buildings and salvaging items, believing nothing should go to waste.

Ben is survived by his daughters Brenda K. and Carla Y. Boe and son Benjamin C. Boe Jr., sister Fay (Dale) Junkans, granddaughter Jessie (Kane L.) Kegel, grandson Brett (Sabrina) Demulling, great grandsons Dean Nelson, Kane T. and Camden Kegel, great granddaughters Emma and Tori Johnson, long-time companion Cathy Cook, many nephews and nieces, great nephews, great nieces, and cousins.

Ben was preceded in death by his parents Alfred and Nellie Boe Olson, stepfather Art Olson, sisters Betty (Spence) Larsen and Daisy (Don) Hilbert and brother Daniel (Alice) (Glade) Boe.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 pm on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at the Williamson-White Funeral Home. A private family funeral service will be held at a later date.
