Bernice Elaine Castanon, age 43, of Amery, Wisconsin passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2016 at the Amery Hospital and Clinic surrounded by loving family. Bernice was born on October 16, 1972 to Wetona Gross and Donald Bricker in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She grew up in North Minneapolis. On February 14, 2009 Bernice married Joel Castanon at the Amery VFW hall. During her free time, Bernice enjoyed BBQ's with her family, taking care of her grandchildren, cooking, garage saling and spending time with her husband Joel. Bernice was preceded in death by her mother, Wetona Gross (Grandpa Chick) and father, Donald Bricker. She is survived by her loving husband of seven years, Joel Castanon; a son, Timothy Bricker (Jennifer), daughter, Haley Eason (Ricardo); five grandchildren, Morgan, Ashley, Cameron, Haidence and Javier; two brothers, Tommy (Sherri), and Bobby; three sisters, Kim (Brent), Mary (Dan), and Theresa. A celebration of life will be held on October 16, 2016.
