Betty C. Anderson, age 81, of Clayton, Wisconsin passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at Golden Age Manor in Amery, Wisconsin.
Betty was born on January 10, 1935 to Wesley and Clara (Cook) Hayle in Osceola, Wisconsin. On August 8, 1953 she married Gene Anderson at the Marsh Lake Lutheran Church in Rural Clayton. As their 3 boys were growing up Betty loved to watch her boys play football, basketball and baseball. After her boys graduated she loved watching the Admiral Inn Softball Team. She never missed a game. As the family grew larger Betty loved attending the grandchildren's sporting events and her great grandchildren's Christmas programs. Betty was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church in Clayton. In her free time she loved camping, snowmobiling, baking, gardening and just tinkering outside. She was passionate about her dogs. She was an avid Packer fan and loved spending time with her family and friends.
Betty is survived by her husband of 62 years, Gene Anderson; 3 boys, Rod (Cathy) Anderson, Richard "Rick" (Paula) Anderson and Randy (Debbie) Anderson; 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Caroline; 5 brothers, Carl, George, Bud, Tony and Leo.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Monday, April 11, 2016 at Faith Lutheran Church in Clayton, Wisconsin with Pastor Margaret Grant officiating. Visitation will be held from 3 – 6 PM Sunday, April 10, 2016 at the Williamson~White Funeral Home and for one hour prior to the service at the Church. Burial will be held at the Marsh Lake Lutheran Cemetery.
