Beverly J. Rehm was born on April 21, 1932 in Spooner, Wisconsin the daughter of Richard and Margaret (Strohbeen) Lambert. As a young child her family moved to Amery. She attended Amery Public School and graduated from high school in 1950. On November 26, 1950 she was united in marriage to Richard K. Rehm at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Amery. They lived in White Bear Lake for a period of time before moving to Gresham, Oregon to take another job. They returned to Amery, Wisconsin where Ric worked for the Coast to Coast Store and Bev worked for Fabri-tek. They eventually purchased Burman Our Own Hardware and relocated the store to the East Side of Keller Ave where Ric operated it for many years. Besides raising two children Bev kept herself active in the community. She was a longtime member of First Lutheran Church and was a quilter there. She also played with the Heavenly Hand Bells and served as treasurer of WELCA. She enjoyed playing the organ at home, just for some peaceful time. Bev enjoyed social time with family and friends and was part of a card group for several years. After many years of living in Amery they moved to the country and made Hilly Home Farm their home. She and Ric enjoyed traveling when time allowed and they enjoyed going to theatre productions at Chanhassen and Fanny Hill. Bev was an avid Packer Fan and cheered them on through the good years and the bad. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society. When elections rolled around each year you would find her working at the polling place as a member of the elections board. She also spent countless hours volunteering at Golden Age Manor applying nail polish as well as nurturing the residents there. Several years ago she and Ric purchased a home back in town. Bev was diagnosed with cancer a few months ago and as her illness progressed she moved to Golden Age Manor. She died at Golden Age on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at the age of 81 years.
Her parents and husband Richard Rehm preceded her in death. Surviving family members include her children: Ruth Ann Clarke and Russell "Rusty" Rehm; sisters: Ardys (Don) Brittain, Bernie (Dick) Henderson, Donnie Ginalias and Reta Thompson; brother Richard (Marlys) Lambert; two grandchildren: Maggie Clarke and Russsell Clarke. She also leaves other relatives and many friends.



Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. from First Lutheran Church in Amery. Burial will be at the Amery Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, November 11, 2013 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home and for the hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.
