Bonnie May Turner was born on February 4, 1941 in New Richmond, Wisconsin the daughter of Claude and Evelyn (Kaldahl) Wilson. She graduated from New Richmond High School in 1959. In 1980 she moved to Amery, Wisconsin where she raised her family. She worked for Hardee's Restaurant in Amery for over 20 years where she enjoyed her co-workers and made many friends. She was a good baker and enjoyed sewing and reading. Spending free time going for a walk to enjoy the outdoors was something she enjoyed. She also attended many country concerts over the years. Her greatest moments in life were spent with her family and friends. She loved being around her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be remembered fondly for her outgoing and loving personality. Bonnie passed away at her home in Amery on Saturday, July 23, 2011.
She was preceded in death by her parents Claude and Evelyn (Kaldahl) Wilson, sister Janice Hartley; brother Erling Wilson, husband Delbert Turner and grandson David Allen Mork. She is survived by her children: Andrew Olson, Joe Olson, Lela Morris, Bonnie (Troy) Mork, and Keith Elledge; grandchildren: Johnnie (Tina) Morris, Virginia Morris, Julie Mork, Tanya (Jered) Smith, Cory Olson, Lance Hornbostel, Felicia Toftness, and Ashley Elledge; great grandchildren: Aidan Vanderbent, Brylynn Morris, Jacey Smith, Jered Jr. Smith and David Glenn Mork; brothers: Donald (Delores) Wilson and Merlin (Jean) Wilson; special friend Dorothy Platson and many other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 29, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from First Lutheran Church in Amery. Interment will be at the Deronda Cemetery. There will be a visitation time for the hour prior to the services at the church.
