Brian "Amos" Ganley, age 69, of Amery, WI passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at Golden Age Manor in Amery.

Amos was born on February 20, 1957 in Minneapolis, MN to Guy and Kathryn (Parrish) Ganley. He spent his younger years in Roseau, MN before moving to Osceola, WI, where he graduated from Osceola High School in 1975. After graduation, Amos attended college at UW Superior where he received a Bachelor's degree in Business. Throughout his life, he was a jack of all trades and worked as a car salesman, retail salesman at Walmart, and as a factory inspector.

Amos married Karen Bader, and to this union they had three beautiful children. They later divorced but remained friends.

The joy of his life was found most in the outdoors. Amos loved camping, hiking and going on adventures. He was always looking up at the sky and making those around him do the same so they could appreciate the beauty as well. He also enjoyed vegetable gardening and watching the Minnesota Vikings. As a member of the Amery Historical Society for a time, he was interested in learning about history—as well as theology. Those who knew Amos will remember his dry sense of humor as well as his passion for music. He would share this passion by having people sit and listen to music with him or make specially curated mix tapes for those he loved. In memory of him, "just play one more song."

Amos was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Gary. He is survived by his son, Charlie; daughters, Meredith (Tim Heine) and Allison (James Brown); grandchildren, Jude Utgard, Escobar Heine and Elyse Heine; brother, Warren "George"; ex-wife, Karen Bader; and other loving family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
