Obituary

Bruce Reed Lundmark passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at home surrounded by his family. Bruce was born November 12, 1945 in St. Croix Falls, WI, to Austin and Jenny Elizabeth (Betty) Lundmark. He attended school in Balsam Lake and graduated in 1964 from Unity High School. Bruce served in the Army from 1966 to 1968. He was a member of the 11th ACR and served in Vietnam. Bruce married Cindy Hallman on May 17, 1976. Together they had two children, Jeffrey and Janelle. Bruce worked at Friday Canning, now Lakeside Foods for 38 years as a food services Sales Manager. He was a lifetime member of the Balsam Lake Rod and Gun Club, and a member of the St. Croix Falls American Legion. Bruce loved to spend time with his grandchildren, hunt, shoot trap, golf and spent many hours on woodworking projects. He was preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law, Stanley Hallman; sisters, Donna Lundmark and Mona Ophus; brother-in-law, Roger and nephew, Kurt Ophus. Bruce leaves to celebrate his memory, wife, Cindy; son, Jeff (Kathy), daughter, Janelle; grandchildren, Chloe, Chance and Reed; a brother, Bryan (Ann); mother-in-law and step father-in-law, Phyllis and Syd Nevin; brothers-in-law, Bryan (Jan), Lynn, and Jerry (Roxie) Hallman, as well as other nieces and nephews. A celebration for Bruce will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at the Williamson-White Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Amery, WI from 4-7 pm. A graveside service will take place at the Balsam Lake Cemetery on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at 11:00 am. The family wishes in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the St. Croix Valley Healthcare Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
