Bruce A. Miller, age 76, of Amery, WI passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at the Golden Age Manor in Amery.

Bruce Allen Miller was born on March 17, 1938 to Lester and Louise Miller in Chicago, IL. He had one brother, Greg who was 9 years younger and was a great fishing partner along with their dad. Bruce attended St. Edwards grade school in Chicago and graduated from Arlington High School in 1957. He then went on to the University of Wisconsin- Madison and graduated with a degree in Agronomy.

Bruce Married Karen Rief in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1980. After a 3 year struggle with cancer Karen passed away in 1986. A very good friend, Marlene Hansen was by her side comforting her during illness and then comforting Bruce after Karen's passing. Bruce and Marlene remained good friends and in 2002 decided to sell their houses in St. Paul, got married and bought a house in Amery, WI where he lived until his health mandated a move to Golden Age Manor in July of 2012. He entertained the staff there with his many stories and one-liners. Bruce was a sales person at Seven Corners Hardware store in St. Paul for almost 20 years and then at Twin City Hardware for several more years. He was very active and thoroughly enjoyed square dancing with the Midway Wheelers Group in St. Paul. He and Marlene continued dancing when they moved to Amery. He had quite a collection of antique cars and trucks. He enjoyed driving them in the local parades and home town celebrations.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Amery with Father Gene Murphy officiating. Visitation will be held one prior to the service at the Church. Interment will be 2:30 PM at the Elmhurst Cemetery in St. Paul, Minnesota.
