Carol Ann Sather, 63, passed away in her home, while sleeping in the early morning hours of Thursday, April 18th, 2013. Born July 25th, 1949 in Amery, Wisconsin, Carol was the second of six children born to Glen and Martha (Bronoel) Sather. Carol was preceded in death by her father Glen, sister Sharon and companion Jeff Johnson.
Carol grew up on the family farm and attended Amery High School. She made many friends, during her working career at the St. Croix County Hospital, for AFLAC, Hartzell, Trollhaugen and last working at the St. Croix Casino for fifteen years. Carol loved spending time with family, relatives and friends, her lake home and caring for animals. She enjoyed photographing wildlife, growing flowers, travelling, taking nature walks, listening to music, and watching the Green Bay Packers. Carol will be deeply missed.
Carol is survived by her mother Martha, siblings Richard, Mary and Curt of Amery, Wisconsin; Jim of Tonto Basin, Arizona; aunt Laura Bronoel and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of Carol's life will be held, on Saturday, May 11th, from 1:00 to 5:00 pm, at the home of Martha Sather 943 143rd St. Amery, WI.
