Charles H. Sigsworth, age 88 of Amery, Wisconsin passed away on October 5, 2010 at the Amery Regional Medical Center. A long time Amery resident, Charles was born on January 23, 1922 in Amery to Martin and Christene (Johnson) Sigsworth. On March 13, 1946 he was united in marriage to Doris Teal, and together they had one son, Gary Sigsworth. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, wife Doris, six brothers: Kenneth, George, Bill, Martin (Fred), Lawrence and Bob; as well as six sisters: Grace, Ruby, Violet, Luella, Mable and Nellie. Survivors include son Gary (Judy) Sigsworth, a brother Edward, three grandsons: Vernon Sigsworth, Martin (Nancy) Sigsworth, and Shawn (Elizabeth) Sigsworth, five great grandchildren: Elizabeth, Timothy, Samantha, Michael and Logan, a nephew Martin Woolard who lived with them for many years, and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 8, 2010 at the Congregational Church in Amery with Pastor Barry Schaefer officiating. Interment will be at the Amery Cemetery. Pallbearers are Dave Hanson, Bob Teal, Jerry Cody, Tim Cody, Frank Schultz, and Stanley Johnson. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church
