Charlotte "Chez" Brevold of Amery, WI passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home on Pike Lake in Amery on January 6, 2024.

Charlotte was born, and given the name Charlotte Eilleen Waterman, on October 6, 1932 in Amery. She attended school and graduated from Amery High School. After graduation, Charlotte attended college in River Falls until the money ran out, and then it was on to work in St. Paul, MN. Charlotte met and married John "Jack" Herrick of New Richmond, WI, who died in 1982. With John, Charlotte had three children—one daughter, Jackie Dooley of Farmington, MN and two sons, Michael Herrick of Amery, WI and Patrick Herrick of Rosemount, MN. She is survived by all three senior adult children and one granddaughter, Lisa Nowicki of Longwood, FL.

Charlotte and Curtis Brevold, who had dated in high school, had rekindled their old high school romance and were married in 1985. They were together until his death in July of 2021. Curtis and Charlotte will be interred together at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

There will be no visitation or ceremonies at the request of Curtis and Charlotte.
