Clara M. Pivec, age 86 of Amery, WI passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at the Amery Regional Medical Center. She was born on April 12, 1926 to Frank and Paula Schwope in Arlington, MN. Clara grew up in Arlington and then attended Business School. She was united in marriage to Frank Pivec and the couple made their home in Roseville, MN. She worked as a book keeper at Quality Park Envelope Company and as a teller at Midway National Bank in St. Paul, MN. Clara and Frank then moved to New Richmond, WI in 1976 where they resided until moving to Amery in 1996. Clara enjoyed gardening and was a great cook. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Mark. She is survived by her loving husband, Frank; son, James (Stephanie) Pivec; daughter, Mary (Robert) Lindholm; eight grand and seven great grandchildren; a brother, Frank (Delores) Schwope and sisters, Lucille Kauffman and Nel Kulaza. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Amery, WI. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
