Claudia Adelaide McKeta, age 77, died on December 7, 2013 from terminal liver cancer. She was born and raised in Seattle Washington and worked for Bank of America for 28 years before retiring and moving to Wisconsin to live near her grandchildren whom affectionately call her "Gma." Claudia attended every recital, performance or competition her grandchildren participated in. She truly lived her life with grace and gratitude, solely to serve those whom she loved. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, having last served as a primary teacher for 12 years teaching children the ages of 6-11 yrs. old and an accompanist. She loved summer so she could grow her flower gardens and could never quite get used to the winters in Wisconsin. She loved Elvis gospel music, Chrysler Imperial tea roses and her dog Blackie and cat Cooper. She is survived by her brother Tim (&Kathy) Davis, sister Tere (& Bob) Kannberg, son Don (&Khampha) McKeta, daughter Sally (&Mike) Wothe and her grandchildren Sydney, Marie, Benjamin and Emma Wothe. She will be deeply missed.
A Visitation will be held from 4 to 7pm on Friday, December 13, 2013 at the Williamson ~ White Funeral Home, 222 Harriman Avenue North, Amery, Wisconsin as well as 10:00 to 11:30 am prior to services at the church on Saturday. Funeral services will be at 11:30 on Saturday, December 14, 2013 from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 545 Stageline Road, Hudson, Wisconsin. Interment will take place at the Floral Hills Cemetery in Seattle, Washington.
