Daniel Lorne Lillie, age 29 of Amery, WI passed away on August 29, 2020 unexpectedly, with his mother by his side. Daniel was born on August 14, 1991 in Cumberland, WI to Danny and Marcey Lillie. Daniel graduated from Clayton High School in Clayton, WI, the Class of 2011. Dan was a gentle and loving soul with an amazing smile. If you laughed, he laughed with you. If you cried, he'd cry with you. He had a huge childlike heart, loving fiercely and without regret. If you were his friend, you were his friend for life. Dan had a special love for animals and would make any animal in his sight his new best friend. Always creative, Dan wrote poetry, songs and journaled. His passions included singing and playing video games with family and friends. Known as "Rise" to his Fortnite family, he spent many happy hours online gaming with them. Nothing made Dan happier than being from a big family; sharing time together, especially at the lake swimming or having a cookout. Forever a jokester, he liked to make people laugh, giving himself or others a hard time with a sarcastic flair; whatever it took to get a good belly laugh going. Until we can laugh together again, we'll all miss him. Daniel was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack Lillie, Delores Lillie, Dale Vaughn and other relatives. He is survived by his father, Danny (Jessica Shrum) Lillie, his mother, Marcey (Raymone Walker) Vaughn, grandparents, Lorne and Cynthia Olson, and half brothers, Erik Keeley, Joshua Minor, Deonte Vaughn, Dalton Lillie and Bo Lillie, along with many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Private family services for Daniel will be held at a later date.
