Born on June 1, 1939, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Daniel lived a life marked by steadfast dedication to his country and family.

Daniel's career was distinguished by his unwavering commitment to military service, spanning 22 years. Beginning in the Army, he later reenlisted into the Air Force, where he served with distinction as a military policeman and thereafter as part of the Strategic Air Command (SAC). Throughout his military tenure, Daniel exemplified honor, discipline, and a profound sense of duty, embracing his roles with integrity and pride.

Beyond his professional achievements, Daniel was recognized for his warmth and kindness. He was a good man—known as a loving husband and an attentive, caring father. Daniel is survived by his beloved wife, Shannon Schacht (née Willer), who shared his journey and stood by his side throughout the years.
