Daphne Helen Ness, age 81 of Amery, WI passed away on March 30, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family
She was born on August 22, 1933 in Stillwater, MN to Otto and Margaret (Arndt) Will. She lived in Mahtomedi, MN for a short time before moving to Schofield, WI. As a teenager her family moved to Amery, WI where she met her life partner, Virgil. Daphne and Virgil were united in marriage on June 17, 1951. During this union of marriage three children were born, Bonnie Helen, Roberta Ann and Virgil Alfred Jr. Virgil and Daphne started their own trucking business after driving semi over the road which they continued until Virgil's death in 2000.
Daphne is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Feist (Roger); granddaughter, Kandi Olson; great-grandchildren, Cody, Kylee, Chloe Olson and Adam Boatman; a brother, Elmer Will; a nephew, Mike Pauls; a cousin, Dorthea and by her Kitties, Carol and Susie; her pooches, Spike and Whiskers. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Virgil; children, Roberta and Virgil; a sister, Violet Pauls.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church with Pastor Keith Ruehlow officiating. Visitation will be held one prior to the services at the Church. Interment will take place at the East Immanuel Cemetery.
