Darrell Gene Wolff passed away suddenly on April 12, 2013. He was born in Fertile, MN on May 19, 1939, and graduated from Fertile Beltrami High School in 1957. He moved to Superior, WI where he managed a gas station and then moved to Amery in 1972.
He was an energetic loving man of 73 years. He will be remembered for his knowledge and love of antiquities. He took great pleasure in passing that knowledge on to anyone who had the time to listen. He appreciated the beauty of nature and cherished his many animals throughout his lifetime.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lillian Kirkpatrick and Harry Wolff, by his brother, Harvey Wolff and his infant sister, Noreen. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Mary E. Wolff, and children Ruth Erdmann Sluka, Cheryl (Gary) Ellingsworth, Rodney (Yvonne) Wolff, Heather (Robert Johnson) Erdmann, Jane (Jeff) Comeau, Robert (Sally) Wolff, and Arthur Erdmann. He is survived by his grandchildren Eric, Tom, Derek, Sarah, Mitchell, T.Claes, Henry and Rosalie; his nieces Pam and Debbie and his nephews, Paul and Donovan.
Visitation will be at Williamson ~ White Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. and 1 hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Amery on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at 11:00 a.m.
