Daryl "DJ" William Dahlberg was born on June 24, 1994 in St. Paul, Minnesota, the son of Daryl and Rebecca (Valentine) Dahlberg. When DJ was two years old they left St. Paul and moved to rural Amery, Wisconsin. He was a loving and caring boy who loved his family. He enjoyed riding dirt bike and the ATV. He enjoyed most anything the outdoors had to offer, hunting, fishing, and water skiing to name a few. It was always a big event when he got a bigger turkey or deer than the rest of the hunters. As he advanced in school he was involved in sports. He was a three year letterman and on the 1st line defense of the hockey team. DJ was presently a captain of the Amery football team. He was a member of the Amery golf team also. When he was able to drive he became the proud owner of a Toyota pickup. He had a faithful partner in his puppy Chester. Friends were important to DJ and he enjoyed time just hanging out with them. Playing softball in Wanderoos was an annual summer activity. DJ died at his home in rural Amery on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at the age of 17.
