Delores (Bryant) Gummert, age 84 died October 14, 2012 at Golden Age Manor in Amery, Wisconsin. Delores was born in Minneapolis on January 18, 1928. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Marie Benton and brother,
Gary Benton. She is survived by her husband, Glendon Gummert of Amery and sons, Steve (Lynette) Bryant of Amery, Greg (Betty) Bryant of Twin Falls, Idaho, Bruce Bryant of Amarillo, Texas; brother, Lyle Benton of Tucson, Arizona; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Delores raised her family and lived in Maple Plain, Minnesota for 60 years, moving to Amery in 2011. She retired from American Medical Systems in 1993 and enjoyed many years of traveling with her husband visiting family and friends. Delores will be remembered and missed by everyone who was fortunate to know her and enjoy her candid humor. A special thank you to her friends and staff at Golden Age Manor, she truly enjoyed her time with you. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, October 19, 2012 at Golden Age Manor, 220 Scholl Court, Amery, WI. A visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Association are preferred.
