Delores Knutson, 92, of Amery, peacefully passed away on January 21, 2025 at Golden Age Manor.

She was born in Iowa on October 1, 1932 to Voyle and Mabel (Hargis) McIalwain. On November 1, 1958, Delores married Roger Knutson in Seattle, Washington. She worked as a bookkeeper at various businesses in St. Paul, MN and Amery, WI for more than 40 years. She retired from Super Valu Grocery Store in 1997. Roger and Delores bought a place in Ocala, Florida where they spent every winter for 15 years. In her spare time, Delores enjoyed cooking, reading, shopping, and spending time with her family.

Delores is survived by her husband, Roger; son, Steve Knutson; daughter, Lori (Paul) Denny; 5 grandchildren, David Knutson, Roger (Vanessa) Knutson, Mary (James) Carter, Morgan (Bryson) Clemenson, and John Denny; 4 great-grandchildren, Cleo and Maeve Clemenson, James Carter IV and Aiden David Carter; and sister-in-law, Bonnie Knutson.

The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Golden Age Manor for her care for the past 5+ years.

Delores, along with her husband Roger, will have a joint visitation from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Friday, February 28, 2025 at the Redeemer Lutheran Church.  A joint visitation will also take place at Redeemer Lutheran Church on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 10:00 am and a service at 11:00 followed by a lunch.

The family will have a private burial service at a later date.
