Deloris Adela Christianson was born September 7, 1920 in Pipestone, Minnesota the daughter of Theodore and Belva Knott. On January 24, 1939 she was married to Carl Christianson in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. She was a very happy and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed craft sewing, gardening and Bingo. She was also a fan of the Minnesota Twins and Vikings. Deloris has been a resident of Glen Haven Nursing Home in Glenwood City, Wisconsin for a number of years. She died there on Monday, May 20, 2013 at the age of 92 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Carl; daughters: Rosemary and Janet; sons: Richard, Ted and David; brothers: Dennis, Walter, Tom, and Jim; sisters: Lucille, and Ann; three grandsons, one granddaughter and one great granddaughter; son-in-law Gerald Grace. She leaves surviving her three sons: Duane (Janet) of Wayzata, MN; James (Sally) of Emerald, WI, and Gary of Osseo, MN; sisters Patty (Russ) Eidel of Dalton, MN, Kathy Houtz of Arizona and Madonna Habermann of Barney, ND; brother Mike (Marlene) Knott of CA; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; daughter-in-law Beatrice Christianson as well as other relatives and friends.
A private graveside service will be held at the Amery Cemetery at a later date.
