Denise Kay Dick age 49, of Amery, WI passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2015 at the Golden Age Manor in Amery, WI after a courageous battle with breast and lung cancer.

Denise was born on June 5, 1965 to Donavon and Karen Volrath (Gilberts) in Chippewa Falls, WI. At a young age she moved to Amery and graduated from Amery High School in 1983. After High School she attended WITC and graduated with a degree in Advertising & Marketing. Shortly after graduating with a degree in Advertising and Marketing she went back and received a degree in Human Services where she helped others through several different places of employment. On July 7, 2007 she was united in marriage to Bruce Dick. The couple made their home in Amery. Denise enjoyed listening to music and dancing. She found great enjoyment in the outdoors, especially sunshine and waterfalls. She loved to learn new things and help others, but ultimately loved her family and cats.

Denise is survived by her husband, Bruce; 2 daughters, Jennifer (Adam) Dick and Trisha Dick; 2 sons, Kyle Trandum and Chris (Nicole) Dick; 3 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Vicki Bignell and Cindy Volrath; 2 brothers, Dan (Sandy) Volrath and Eric Volrath; parents, Donavon (Karen) Volrath and many other nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, May 16, 2015 at the East Lincoln Alliance Church in Amery with Pastor Randy Schussman officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 – 7 PM Friday at the Williamson- White Funeral Home in Amery. Interment will be at the Amery Cemetery.
