Denise Marie Jeske was born on August 1, 1955 in Cumberland, Wisconsin to her parents Reinhard and Marlys (Groehler) Jeske. Growing up Denise lived in the Turtle Lake, Clear Lake, and Clayton areas, graduating from Clayton High School in 1973. After graduating high school Denise moved to the Twin Cities area to be near her employment. She eventually moved back to the Clayton area and married Larry Swanson, then later divorced. Denise worked at the St. Croix Casino, Hardees, GDSI, Dicks Market, as well as other places in the surrounding area. Denise was very active and a fun person to be around. She enjoyed gardening and flowers and loved her cats. Denise was currently residing in Clear Lake where she passed away peacefully at her home on June 17, 2011 at the age of 55. Denise is survived by her loving mother Marlys (Don) Balow of Gladstone, OR, sister Cheryl (Jack) Yager of Clayton, WI, brothers Jeff (Donna) Jeske of Andover, MN, Brian Jeske of Clayton, WI, Clay (Michelle) Jeske of Prairie Farm, WI, and Kim (Janae) Jeske of Mesa, AZ. She is also survived by her Aunt Jeanette Neimann of Turtle Lake, WI, and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends including her very special friends Gary Moe & Ruth Graski. Her father Reinhard Jeske and brothers Greg and Wayne Jeske preceded her in death. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at the Williamson ~ White Funeral Home in Amery. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service from 4 to 6 pm on Wednesday.
