Obituary

Donna Mae Manlove was born on January 31, 1929 in Madison, Minnesota the daughter of George and Dora (Hallgrimson) Wombill. She grew up in Madison, Minnesota and graduated from Madison High School. In June of 1948 she was united in marriage to Donald Gene Manlove and together they raised three children. In 1969 they purchased the Ford Dealership in Hudson, Wisconsin. In 1978 they purchased the Ford Dealership in Amery, Wisconsin and soon after moved to Amery. After Don's death she built a home in the Pondhurst Development in Amery. She continued working at the dealership until 2006 when it was sold. In her spare time Donna enjoyed reading and also the challenge of a good computer game. She was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Amery. She has lived at Pondhurst until this past year when she moved to Riverbend Assisted Living in Amery. Donna passed away at her apartment at Riverbend on Sunday October 30, 2016 at the age of 87.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband Donald, her parents and two brothers: Richard and George Wombill. Surviving family members include her sons: Wayne (Gerri) Manlove, and Jeff (Debbie) Manlove; daughter Wendy (Richard) Gregerson; 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; one sister Carol Jean Trace as well as other relatives and friends.


Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Amery. There will be visitation at the church for the hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Amery Cemetery.
