Obituary

Earl H. Sprester, age 75 of Amery, WI passed away on Wednesday, Man 22, 2013 at the Amery Regional Medical Center. A visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 2, 2013 at the Williamson-White Funeral Home in Amery. Burial will be at the East Lincoln Cemetery.

Earl Hugh Sprester was born on September 6, 1937 in Hixton, Wisconsin the son of Hugh W. and Gladys M. (Savage) Sprester. He attended Hixton High School and after graduating went into the drywall business. He was united in marriage to Kathleen J. Bather on June 13, 1956 and to this union eight children were born. They lived in Hixton, Milwaukee and Warrens, Wisconsin before moving to Amery, Wisconsin where they raised their family. Earl loved hunting and fishing. He had a passion for collecting old fishing baits and antiques. In April of 1994 Earl met Mae L'Allier and they resided in rural Amery until the time of his death on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at the Amery Regional Medical Center. Earl was 75 years of age.
He was preceded in death by his parents, infant sister Betty, infant son Earl Patrick; Sister Ruth Kittler; brother-in-law Frank (Bud) Allen and Mae's son Todd L'Allier. He is survived by his dear companion Mae L'Allier and her children Dawn (Bryce) Cain and Wayne L'Allier; sister Marian Allen of Cumberland; four sons: Tim (Connie) of LaCrosse, Tom (LuAnn) of Almena, Daniel (Milena) of Almena and Sean (Wendy) of Eau Claire; three daughters: Betty Ash of Amery, Melissa (Cecil) Arnett of Brooklyn Park, MN and Billie Jo Sprester of Eau Claire; 18 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
