Edward George O'Neill, age 85 of Amery, WI passed away at his home on December 19, 2015. Edward was a veteran of the Korean War, serving on the USS Benham (DD-796), and subsequently worked as a mechanical engineer at Univac, Comten, Medtronic, Daig, and Mentor. He had many interests and at various times was active in the St. Croix Sailing Club, Lake Wapogasset-Bear Trap Lake Association, and Sodbusters RC Club.

Edward was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Helen; mother, Aurelia (Nistler) Peck; father, Raymond; brothers, John, Larry, Dick and Danny; sisters, Peggy, Patsy and Mary Lou. Survived by loving children and step-children, Colleen O'Neill (William Baker), Alan (Jennifer) O'Neill, Roxanne (David) Hyde, Gail Vokovan, Gregory (Goody) Vokovan, William (Beverly) Vokovan and Paul (Kristi Olson) Vokovan; grandchildren, Samuel (Lauren), Alexander, Kaitlin (Trent), William, Benjamin, Jonathan, Nathaniel and Joshua, Faith, Grace, Kate, Eric, Jessica and Hilary; and brother, Tim.

A memorial service will be held at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Amery, WI on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at 2 PM. A visitation will be held one hour before the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Amery Senior Center, 608 Harriman Ave. S., Amery, WI 54001.
Interment Monday, December 28th, at 11:00 AM at Fort Snelling National Cemetery; meet at Assembly Area #3 at 10:45 am.
