Elijah "Eli" James Krueger, 17 son of James A. Krueger and Mary Jo Webber, Deer Park, WI, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 6, 2011. Eli was born on March 26, 1994 at SCRMC in St. Croix Falls, WI.

Eli was a senior at Amery High School. He helped the special needs children and they held a special place in his heart. He had an extraordinary connection with animals. Eli especially enjoyed his time in equine science class working with the horses at Vicki Hill's house.

Eli was gifted in knowing when to stand up for others and be there to support them. His laugh was contagious and he was a blessing to all. Eli was an avid outdoorsmen who enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Eli was a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. Eli was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather and grandmother Eugene and Elvina Webber. Left to mourn are his mother and father, brother Jaden (Tracy) Swenson, sisters Emily Webber and Olivia Krueger, a niece Persephone and nephew Lucian, grandparents Don and Bernice Krueger. Along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 9, 2011 from St. Joseph Catholic Church in Amery.
