Emma Riley passed away peacefully on June 20, 2014 at Golden Age Manor where she had been a resident since 2006.

She was born on July 16, 1916 in Shafer MN to Claus G Warndahl and M Sophie (Petterson) Warndahl.  She was baptized into the Christian faith on August 5, 1916 and confirmed on May 24, 1931 at Chisago Lakes Lutheran Church.  On December 24, 1934 she was united in marriage to Ronald Riley.  They made their home and raised their family in the Turtle Lake/Amery area. Emma cherished her role as Mother.  As the children were growing, she and Ron became the proprietors of Riley's Store.  After they sold the store she enjoyed many years of employment at Super Valu and Inlook Boutique.

Emma was proceeded in death by her husband, Ronald, her parents Claus and Sophie Warndahl,  her brothers, Fred, Carl, Gustaf, Robert and sisters Edith Dosch and Helen Shogren.

She will be missed by her children Robert (Jackie) Amery, WI, Duane (Ruth Ann) Amery, WI, Bobette (William) Drumb Trophy Club, TX, Vonette Beckon Madeira Beach, FL, and James (Karen) New Richmond, WI.  She dearly enjoyed and loved her relationship with her 15 grandchildren, 30 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren.

Emma was so loved by many devoted, caring nieces, nephews and friends who will also dearly miss her.

Visitation for Emma will be from 5 to 7pm on Tuesday, June 24 at the Williamson ~ White Funeral Home in Amery and 1 hour prior to services at the church. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Amery WI. Interment will be at Amery Cemetery.
