Evelyn Ruby Martinson, age 94 of Wanderoos, Wisconsin passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at the Christian Community Home in Osceola. She was born on November 15, 1923 in Garfield Township, WI to George E. and Esther Marie (Dahlstrom) Johnson. Evelyn grew up in Garfield Township, attended school at Bear Lake, and graduated from St. Croix Falls High School. After graduation, she lived and worked on the family farm. On March 14, 1946, Evelyn was united in marriage to Arden Martinson in Stillwater, MN. They made their home on Evelyn's family farm where they raised their daughter, Beverly. In 1956 the family moved to Wanderoos, Wisconsin. In addition to working on the family farm, Evelyn also worked at the cheese factory in Amery and Wanderoos. She was active in the Wanderoos Community Club and Wanderoos Lions Club, and a lifelong member of Bethesda Lutheran Church. Evelyn also enjoyed crossword puzzles and especially loved going to the ball park in Wanderoos, where she and Arden spent much of their time enjoying and participating in all the activities at the ball park.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Arden; son in law, Al; two brothers, Edward and Gordon Johnson, and a sister, Marion Johnson. She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Olson; grandsons, Brandon (Michelle Evans) Olson and Brock Olson; great grandchildren, Connor and Kennedi Olson and many other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, February 19, 2018 at Bethesda Lutheran Church-Sand Lake in rural Dresser, Wisconsin. A visitation will be held from 5 to 8 pm on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at the Williamson-White Funeral Home in Amery, as well as the hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will take place at the Bethesda Cemetery.   Pallbearers are Lee Martinson, Tim Martinson, Matt Andersen, Greg Martinson, Chris Sorensen and Michelle Evans. Honorary pallbearers are Don Martinson, Chuck Martinson, Jody Hubred and Donna Andersen.
