Garry Nadford Olson, age 86 of Milltown, WI passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2026 at his residence in Milltown, WI. Garry was born on December 4, 1939 in Grafton, North Dakota to Norman and Ella Mae Olson. He grew up in and attended school in Grafton, where he also met his wife, Donna Arens. The couple was united in marriage on June 30, 1960 in Grafton and then moved to Minneapolis where they raised their two children. Later the family moved to Apple Valley, MN and eventually made their home in Amery in the early 1990’s. Later in life Gary and Donna started wintering in Arizona and liked it so much they decided to move there permanently. In 2008 they moved back to Wisconsin and bought a home in Milltown, where Garry was currently residing. Garry worked as a butcher at the St. Paul, MN Meat and enjoyed fishing. He loved living in Arizona and especially spending the winters there.

Garry was preceded in death by his wife, Donna; parents, Norman and Ella Mae; and son, Scott Olson.

He is survived by his daughter, Janet Johnson; grandchildren, Jeff Johnson and Natasha Johnson.

A celebration of life will be from 4 to 7 PM on Thursday, August 27, 2026 at the Williamson-White Funeral Home, Amery, WI.
