Gary S. Lundberg, aged 85, of Amery, Wisconsin, peacefully passed away on April 28, 2026, at Amery Memory Care. Born on November 30, 1940, in Osceola, Wisconsin, Gary was a proud graduate of Osceola High School, class of 1958. On September 30, 1961, he married Sylvia (Myhre), with whom he shared a loving union that blessed them with three daughters.

Gary's career began in September 1961 at Fabri-Tek in Amery, where he held various management roles over 15 years. In October 1976, he joined UFE as Manager of Customer Service and concluded his tenure there in 1989 as a Quality Systems Analyst. He devoted his final working years to serving as the business manager of Hansen and Associates Education Services Inc. After retiring, Gary fulfilled his dream by moving to his lake home in Webster, Wisconsin, in 1998. Committed to public service, he served many years on the Burnett County Board of Supervisors and also as Chairman of the Scott Township Board.

As his health declined, Gary relocated to Amery Memory Care in 2024. He is lovingly remembered by his three daughters, Robin (Tracy), Roxanne (David), and Renae (Todd); sisters, Dawna and Bonnie (Rick); grandchildren, Lexi (Inigo), Mitchell, Megan, Michael, and Mikayla (Cassie); nephew, Bruce; nieces Tammy (Travis) and Charlene (Matthew); along with numerous other family members and cherished friends.

Gary was preceded in death by his beloved wife Sylvia, his parents Irving and Berdean, and brother-in-law Ray Hansen.

A private family burial will be held at the Amery Cemetery. In honor of Gary's memory, the family invites memorial contributions to be made to any cause close to one's heart.
