Gary R. Prell was born in Elgin, Illinois on April 11, 1940 the son of Robert and Pearl (Comer) Prell. Gary worked for the Owens Illinois Corporation for 38 years holding various management positions prior to retiring in 1995. Gary passed away at the Amery Regional Medical Center in Amery, Wisconsin on Sunday, August 31, 2014 at the age of 74 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Richard Prell. Surviving family members include his daughter Diane (Joe) Troutman of Bartlet, IL; son Steven of Genoa, IL; grandson Joe (Lynn) Troutman, granddaughter Ashley Prell and one great grandson Max Troutman as well as other relatives and friends.
