Gayle V. Wicklund, age 78 of Amery, Wisconsin passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023 at the Golden Age Manor in Amery.  Gayle was born on July 9, 1944 to Earl and Verda Parker in Bloomington, MN where she grew up. Gayle loved horses and saved up enough money to buy her first horse when she was 11.  Gayle loved being outdoors fishing and gardening and also enjoyed cooking.  Most of all she loved her family.  Gayle was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Verda Parker, husband Arley, daughter Susie, brother Ted and brother in law Dick.  Gayle is survived by her daughter, Laura Allen (Dennis Severson), grandchildren, Jon Msh-Allen (Holly Colegrove), Ashley Allen (Joseph Tucker), Adam (Heather) Severson and Emily (Jordan) Boyst as well as five great grandchildren.  A Celebration of Gayle's Life will take place from 2 to 4 pm on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at the home of Denny Severson and Laura Allen: 704A 70th Avenue, Amery.  To sign an online guest book please visit www.williamsonwhite.com.  Arrangements were made with the Williamson-White Funeral Home of Amery.
