Gaynor B. Larson, age 69, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on Friday, November 7, 2014. Gaynor resided in Clayton, WI for the past several years but he spent much of his life in Milltown and Amery, WI. Gaynor was born on September 7, 1945 in Milltown, WI to Kenneth and Olga Larson. He was the youngest of 6 boys. He enjoyed dirt track racing from the time he was a young boy with his father and brothers. He passed that passion and the love of speed to his own sons and several of his grandchildren. He met and married Carol (Briese) and to this union five children were born. He later was united in marriage to Cindy Haley. Gaynor is predeceased in death by his parents; brothers, Lloyd, Dale, Delray, and Gordy; his daughter, Tracy; grandchildren, Zachary, Kailey and Kaden and his wife, Cindy (Haley) Larson. Gaynor is survived by his brother, Ron (Bev) Larson; his children, Tammy (Tracy) Zmuda, Kenneth (Stacy) Larson, Heather (William) Thayer, and Jamie (Stephanie Swanson) Larson; 15 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A visitation for Gaynor will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at the Williamson-White Funeral Home in Amery, with a Memorial Service being held at 5 p.m. on Thursday, officiated by Pastor Barry Schaefer. Honorary Pallbearers will include all of his grandchildren, (Tracy) Amber and Jonathon, (Tammy) Zachary, Kimberly, Kelsey, Kailey, Kameron and Kaden, (Ken) Nicholas, Damion, Matthew and Samantha, (Heather) Braydon, Hannah and Brennan, (Jamie) Alex, Mitchell, and Brady. Gaynor's remains will be laid to rest with his daughter, Tracy, in the Milltown cemetery at a later date. The family wishes to extend heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Golden Age Manor, Amery Hospital and Clinic, and Regions Hospital.
