Georgianna Mohr, better known as just "Georgi", was born on March 4, 1935 near Wausau in Marathon County, Wisconsin. She was the daughter of Emil and Verna Tesch. She grew up near Wausau. She was united in marriage to Jacob John Mohr in 1954. When they were first married they lived in the Town of Rib Mountain and during that time she did foster care and had many children live with them over the years. She had a gift working with children. In the early 1970's they moved to the Town of Hudson, Wisconsin. She commuted from their home and worked at Toro for many years. In 1984 they purchased a home in Georgetown Township near Blake Lake. She took a job working at Am-tec in Amery. Georgi was a doll collector and had many in her collection. She suffered an apparent stroke at her home and was taken to the Amery Regional Medical Center where she passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at the age of 79 years.
