Gerald (Jerry) Norman Crook, age 72 of Emerald, Wisconsin passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at the Amery Hospital and Clinic. He was born on September 11, 1942 to Norman and Dorothy (Starr) Crook in Dodgeville, Wisconsin. Jerry attended school in Dodgeville, graduated in 1960 and attended college at Platteville, Wisconsin. Jerry was raised on a farm and after college went on to show his talents in several different areas, most recently in the music business running sound and entertaining his many friends. He could make everyone smile and laugh, sharing his knowledge of useless facts and fabulous sense of humor with whoever would listen. Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Norman. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy; wife, Diann; children, Mary (Peter) Patrin, Jeff (Tyna) Crook, Brett (Patti) Crook, Pamela (Charles) Anderson, Bobbi Jo (Bruce) Hemauer, Jeri Lynn (Steve) Strohschein, Carrie (Doug) Mueller, Sarah (Abdul) Hassan and Honorary son, Brad (Inga) Dobosz; 26 grandchildren and 10, soon to be 12 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at the Williamson-White Funeral Home Chapel in Amery, Wisconsin. A visitation will be held from 4 to 7 pm on Monday, July 20, 2015 at the funeral home, as well as the hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Burial will be at the Clear Lake Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, James Hoisington Jr., Jeff L Crook, Kyle Crook, Erick Strohschein, Nicolas Lodermeier and Mathew Dobosz. Honorary pallbearers are, Jammal Hassan, Lucas Hoisington, Joshua Crook, Jeremy Crook, Kaleb Crook and Jacob Crook.
