Geraldine (Gerri) T. Fleming, age 85 of Amery, WI passed away on Monday, March 30 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Gerri was the 2nd youngest of 9 children born to William & Mary (Gillespie) Wilson on July 21, 1929. She attended school in Star Prairie and New Richmond. On February 14, 1953 she was united in marriage to Stuart L. Fleming. Together they raised 5 children. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother & great-grandmother who will be dearly missed.

In addition to being a homemaker, Gerri worked many jobs over the years including waitressing at several area restaurants (Lundees & Kraskes). The family lived in Huntington, Rice Lake and New Richmond before moving to rural Amery in 1971. She was an avid gardener known for her wonderful vegetables and always had a yard full of beautiful flowers. Gerri also enjoyed playing piano, reading, crocheting, playing cribbage and long walks.

Gerri was preceded in death by Stuart, her husband of 57 years, and her 8 siblings and their spouses. She is survived by her 5 children, Dan (Judy), Tom, Julie (Mark) Lange, Jeanne and Jack (Carol); 9 Grandchildren, Becky, Debbie, Cassie (Ron), Ryan, Stacy, Mike, Rob, Sara (Bob) & Megan ... 8 Great grandkids Joe, D'shaun, Nate, George, Edward, Ava, LeBree & Mia ... Along with many nieces & nephews & friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Amery, Wisconsin with Father Gene Murphy officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 – 8 PM Monday, April 6, 2015 at the Williamson-White Funeral Home in Amery. Interment will be at the St. Bridget's Cemetery in Stanton.
