Heather (Speck) Pommerening, 40, of Deer Park passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on August 25, 2026.

Heather was born in Minneapolis, MN on April 10, 1986. She graduated from Colfax High School. Heather married the love of her life, Tony Pommerening on March 22, 2008, and together they built a beautiful family of five children. Heather went back to school to get her CNA license, where she worked in health care for over 15 years doing what she loved working with people always trying to help people where she could.

Heather’s greatest joy was her family, from camping to hockey games, watching and cheering the kids on, working in the family business, with always being there to make everyone laugh. She devoted her life to caring for others and was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She cherished time spent outdoors with family, one of her favorite times and traditions. Heather will be remembered for her kindness, big heart, her generosity, and the deep love she shared with everyone around her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Tony Pommerening; her children, Christine (Nicholas McDonald) Pommerening, Evelyn Pommerening, Patrick Pommerening, Lillyan Pommerening and Elizabeth Pommerening; grandchildren, Hazel, June, Aerial, Sawyer, Lonna, and Waylon; and many close family and friends.
