Helen was born on June 10, 1933 and passed on to eternal life on May 29, 2011. She was born and educated in Duluth, MN, and was the daughter of Eugene and Gundborg Wilkinson. Helen and her husband of 35 years, Ed, have been residents in the Amery area for over 30 years and Helen, until her illness, was very active in the community and various organizations. She is survived by her loving husband, Ed; her caring children and step children, Gail Vokovan of Center City, MN; Gregory (Goody) Vokovan of East Bethel, MN; William (Beverly) Vokovan of Ham Lake, MN; Paul (Kristi Olson) Vokovan of Minnetonka, MN; Colleen (William Baker) O'Neill of Minneapolis, MN; Alan (Jennifer) O'Neill of River Falls, WI; Roxanne (David) Hyde of Oakdale, MN; 14 grandchildren; and her dear sister, Lois Bogenholm of Moose Lake, MN. Helen was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gordy of Duluth, MN and sister Virginia of Inverness, FL. Friends may visit with the family at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, 217 Deronda St., Amery, WI from 2:00 to 3:00 pm on Friday, June 10, 2011. Memorial services will be at 3:00 pm with Pastor Keith Ruehlow officiating.
