Howard O. Yelle age 90, of Amery, WI passed away peacefully on July 1, 2015 at the Amery Regional Medical Center in the presence of his loving wife and family.
Howard was born on February 17, 1925 to Ovid and Myra (Dumas) Yelle. Howard worked as a machinist for military components and was a talented designer who could make anything out of anything. Some of his creations included airplanes, a horseless carriage, antique miniature automobiles, snowplows, several motorcycles and furniture. He was a talented musician who played accordion professionally. He was also a very accomplished organist who with his wife Phyllis, would regularly entertain by singing and playing music.
He is survived by his wife Phyllis; sons, Rick (Brenda) and Steve (Cindy); two grandchildren; three great grandchildren; step son, Renny (Sharon); three step grandchildren and eight step great grandchildren, brother Edward Yelle and many other loving relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ovid and Myra; brothers, Albert, Clarence, Dana, Ray, Lawrence; sister, Lillian, his first wife Crystal.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Friday, July 3, 2015 at the United Covenant Church in Clear Lake, WI with Pastor Dan Pearson officiating. Visitation will be held for the hour prior to the service at the Church. Interment will be held at a later date.
