Irene E. Dusick (Lauba), 96, of Luck, Wisconsin passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at St. Croix Health in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin.

She was born on November 8, 1927 and grew up in Germany. She met the love of her life, Peter Dusick, while Peter was stationed in Germany during his military service. They were married in 1956 and celebrated 68 wonderful years together. Irene spent her career as a kindergarten teacher. One of her many passions in life were to educate young minds and to watch them learn and grow.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Peter Dusick.

Irene is survived by her daughter, Kathy; and in-laws, James (Jane) Dusick and Donald Dusick.

A private family funeral service will take place at a later date. Burial will be held at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery in Spooner, Wisconsin.
