Jack Beecroft, longtime Amery resident died at the Amery Regional Medical Center on Friday, November 2, 2012 at the age of 78 years. Funeral services wil be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Williamson-White Funeral Home in Amery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. and the hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Burial will be at the Amery Cemetery.
Jack E. Beecroft was born on December 22, 1933 in Turtle Lake, Wisconsin the son of Harry and Edna (Schmidt) Beecroft. He grew up in Turtle Lake and graduated from the Turtle Lake High School. He enlisted in the United States Navy right after high school. He returned from his service and met Betty Combs. They were united in marriage on June 21, 1958. Together they raised three daughters. Jack enjoyed having a family dog and had many over the years which he enjoyed. He also enjoyed the outdoors which offered deer and duck hunting and fishing, especially for Muskies. He served as a district manager for many years for Coast to Coast, a job which required traveling about his district sometimes with Betty at his side. He died on Friday, November 2, 2012 at Amery Regional Medical Center at the age of 78 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Betty and brothers Roy and Harry. Left to mourn are his daughters: Julie Beecroft, Peggy Beecroft and Vickie (Derek) Mullen; sister Lorraine Miller; grandson Elliot Gunderson as well as other relatives and friends.
