Jacqueline "Jackie" Lee Gaffey (née Bodsberg), 71, of Amery passed away February 14, 2014. She was born on October 31, 1942 in East St. Paul, Minn. to Harry and June Bodsberg. Her family moved to Amery, WI when Jackie was in sixth grade, and she attended Amery schools until graduating from high school in 1960.
Her parents and her sister, Vickie Galush, preceded Jackie in death. She is survived by sons Michael (Megan) of Minneapolis; and Beau (Mariah) of Dresser, WI; and grandchildren Declan, Moira, Tanner, and Taryn Gaffey. Jackie enjoyed walking in the neighborhood and park near her home with Gizzy, her faithful companion and special pet. She loved animals, birds, flower gardens, shopping, and attending her boys' sporting events and later those of her grandchildren.
Visitation for Jackie will be at the Williamson-White Funeral Home in Amery on Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014 at 5 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 6 p.m. Interment will take place at the Amery Cemetery at a later date.
