James "Jim" Edward Schwab, age 56, of Rice Lake, Wisconsin passed away unexpectedly at Lakeview Medical Center in Rice Lake, Wisconsin.

Jim was born on June 25, 1961 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Rice Lake, Wisconsin to Duane and Dorothy (Tomesh) Schwab. Jim attended school in Rice Lake. After high school he farmed for many years in the Brill Area. He later went on to work as a laborer for Push Inc.

Jim is survived by a significant other of 29 years Nancy Stodola; 2 sons, Shane (Kayla) Scribner and Adam (Jessica) Stodola; 2 daughters, Kaily (Eric) Bauman and Jessica Stodola (Dennis); 7grandchildren; a brother, Roger (Cassie) Schwab; 3 sisters, Donna (Mitch) Atkins, Marilyn (Terry) Atkins and Diane (Doug) Haley; Many Nieces, Nephews and other relatives & Friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Duane.

A visitation will be held from 4 to 7 PM on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Appleyard's Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. A prayer service will be held at 7 PM following the visitation. A private family interment will take place at a later date at the Dobie Cemetery in Dobie, Wisconsin.
