James W. Lowery was born on July 14, 1954 in Evanston, Illinois. His parents Jack and Charlotte (Zollweg) White moved the family to Florida when Jim was very young. He grew up and attended school in Hollywood, Florida. In his late 20's Jim moved to the Twin Cities of Minnesota. Jim took a job with Pepsi where he worked until taking a job with North West Airlines in 1988, where he was still currently employed in ground service. Jim would face any challenge that was ever thrown his way. He enjoyed playing his guitar, especially older Jimmy Buffet songs. On December 20, 2009 Jim passed away suddenly at the Amery Regional Medical Center after suffering a heart attack. Jim is preceded in death by his father Melvin. He is survived by his mother Charlotte White, sons William (Sandra) Lowery, Jonathan Lowery, James "Keith" Lowery, daughter Kessie Lowery, six grandchildren, sister Joyce (Ron) Briggs, and many other loving relatives and friends. Memorial services will be at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at the Williamson – White Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 222 Harriman Avenue N., Amery, WI (715) 268-7111. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
